Portuguese winemakers have been determined to maintain the heritage of more than 250 grape varieties. In fact, most of them only exist here. They are masters in using the potential of the diversity of the land. The vines are being cultivated on all sorts of soil from sand to slate. Also, they are being exposed to different microclimates from the Mediterranean, the Atlantic ocean and the European mainland. The result is an exciting range of wines. And we can promise you that they are as diverse as exciting.
